The Los Angeles Center’s STOP Violence Program strives to increase access to mental health and supportive services for survivors of domestic violence, intimate partner abuse, sexual assault as well as other crimes.

In recognition of the complexity of this public health issue, we are also committed to helping those who do harm to choose healthier behaviors. SVP delivers direct victim services while also working towards systemic change by contributing to a collaborative system of LGBTQ victim of crime resources in Los Angeles. Our goal is to bring attention to the lack of appropriate services and develop effective strategies to ensure broader availability of LGBTQ affirming survivor services.
